CCEN Invasive Species Group

Invitation to Launch of Invasive Species Group

You are invited to the launch of the Carlow Invasive Species group, a subgroup of County Carlow Environmental Network. We work at eradicating and managing invasive species from the Barrow Catchment area. For the past three years, we have focused on Himalayan Balsam, a rapidly spreading invasive species in the Barrow Catchment area, and we will also be launching the Himalayan Balsam removal season.

Where

The launch will be held at the Barrow Brew coffee dock, (R93DP4V) in Milford weir car park Milford Co Carlow, on Sunday, 18th May at 2 pm. There will be a guided walk along the banks of the river, as well as a demonstration on how to remove Himalayan Balsam.

Support your local environment, enjoy the fresh air and join us at Milford on Sunday, 18th May! You can contact us at catchment@ccen.ie.
